Given:

Strength of institute for the first year = 6000

Increase % in second year = 10% 

Increase % in third year = 20% 

Increase % in fourth year = 35% 

Concept used:

Final year strength = First year strength × (1 + R1/100) × (1 + R2/100).....

Calculations:

Strength of an Institute for the first year = 6000

Strength of an Institute in the fourth year = 6000(1 + 10/100)(1 + 20/100)(1 + 35/100)

⇒ 6000 × 1.1 × 1.2 × 1.35

⇒ 10692

∴ The strength of an institute in the fourth year is 10692
