⇒ Area of the square = 21 × 21 = 441 cm2

Radius of the circle = 21/2 cm

⇒ Area of the circle = 22/7 × 21/2 × 21/2 = 11/2 × 63 = 346.5 cm2

⇒ Area of shaded region = 441 – 346.5 = 94.5 cm2
