There are 85 students between Roshni and Nakul in a class and Roshni is 5th from the top and Nakul is 7th from the bottom. If they exchange their position then what is the position of Madhushree from the top if Madhushree was 6th place above Nakul's original position?

The position of Nakul is 7th from the bottom and the position of Roshni is 5th from the top 

Therefore the total number of students = 85 + 7 + 5 = 97 before exchange their position.

They exchange their position now Nakul becomes 5th to the top and Roshni becomes 7th from the bottom;

So, Madhushree is now 13th from the bottom.

The number of students after exchanging their position before Madhushree = 97 - 13= 84

Therefore Madhushree position is from top = 85th

Hence, the correct answer is 85th.
