According to the question:

(X - 5) = 3(Y - 5)

⇒ 3Y - X = 10

And

(X - 1) = 2(Y - 1)

⇒ 2Y - X = 1

Solving both equations:

⇒ Y = 9 and X = 17

Hence, the age difference between Radha and Rani = 17 - 9 = 8
