There are two hospitals filled with corona patients. Capacity of beds of two hospitals are in the ratio 3 : 4. Number of corona patients in smaller hospital is 300. What is the average patient in both hospitals? Correct Answer 350
Given,
Capacity of beds of two hospitals are in the ratio 3 : 4.
Number of corona patients in smaller hospital is 300
Formula:
Average = Total sum of all observation/Total number of all observation
Calculation:
⇒ Capacity ratio of two hospital = 3x : 4x
Number of corona patients in smaller hospitals = 300
⇒ 3x = 300
⇒ x = 100
⇒ 4x = 100 × 4 = 400
Sum of patient of both hospitals = 300 + 400 = 700
∴ Average patient = 700/2 = 350
