Neokit Tablet & Capsule contains Omeprazole + Metronidazole + Clarithromycin
Neokit Tablet & Capsule side effects
Omeprazole, Metronidazole & Clarithromycin combination are well tolerated. Side effects may include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and abdominal pain. Other side effects include unpleasant metallic or bitter taste, headache, drowsiness, vertigo, constipation, abdominal colic and flatulence.
Caution should be exercised in patients with impaired hepatic and renal functions. It should not be used in patients with blood dyscrasia. Safety and effectiveness in children have not been established.
Clarithromycin: Theophylline, digoxin and warfarin.
Omeprazole: Warfarin, ketoconazole.
Metronidazole: Warfarin.
This combination should be used with caution during pregnancy and lactation only if the potential benefit justifies the risk
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Clarithromycin, Omeprazole and Metronidazole.
