Intal Inhaler uses for
Prophylaxis of bronchial asthma; prevention of exercise induced asthma. Children seem to response better than adults. It has no value in the treatment of acute attack of asthma
By aerosol inhalation: 10 mg (or 2 puffs) 4 times daily initially at regular intervals in spinhaler, increasing in severe cases or duringperiods of risk to 6 times daily Before exercise, additional doses may be taken Maintenance, 5 mg (1 puff) 4 times daily Therapy should be continuous.
By inhalation of powder: 20 mg 4 times daily, increased in severe cases to 8 times daily
By inhalation of nebulised solution: 20 mg 4 times daily, increased in severe cases to 6 times daily
