Dissolve 7.5 mg Halazone Tablet in 1.5 litres, 15 mg tablet in 3 litres, & 50 mg tablet in 10 litres drinking water and use half to 1 hour after preparation.

Other technique to purify water:

• 15 mL of crystalline iodine for 1 Litter of water. Treat for 30 minutes before using the water.
• 0.5 mL of 2% tincture of iodine for 1 Litter of water. Treat for 70 minutes to 8 hours before using the water.
• 2 to 4 drops of household chlorine bleach for 1 L of water. Treat for 30 minutes before using the water. Iodine is considered to work better than chlorine against giardia.
