$G i v e n, \frac{x^{2} - 7 x + 12}{x^{2} + 4} = 3$

$\Rightarrow x^{2} - 7 x + 12 = 3 x^{2} + 12$

$\Rightarrow 3 x^{} + 12 - x^{2} + 7 x - 12 = 0$

$\Rightarrow 2 x^{2} + 7 x = 0$

$\Rightarrow x (2 x + 7) = 0$

$∴ H e r e, x = 0$

$O r, 2 x + 7 = 0$

$\Rightarrow 2 x = - 7$

$∴ x = \frac{- 7}{2}$

$a n s : x = 0 O r, x = \frac{- 7}{2}$
