How to Automatically Redirect Incoming Messages to Another E Mail Account
If you need to manage incoming emails from multiple accounts, you have the option to automatically redirect all incoming messages to another email account. Setting up automatic redirection of emails makes it so that you only have to monitor one email account, regardless of how many emails you are receiving.
- Open your email account settings. Depending on your email provider, this may be done through a link in the main dashboard or through the main menu on the right side of the screen.
- Find and select the auto-forwarding option. This is usually found within the “settings” tab or in the “forwarding” or “accounts” categories.
- Enter the email address that you would like to auto-forward messages to. You may also enter multiple email addresses, each on its own line.
- Set the rules for what types of messages you would like to auto-forward. This step is optional, though it is recommended so as to prevent any undesirable emails from being redirected to your primary email account. You may also select an option to keep a copy of emails from the original email account.
- Adjust the global auto-redirecting setting. This will allow all emails from the original email account to be forwarded unless you specify otherwise.
- Save your settings. Some email accounts will require you to activate auto-forwarding before it goes into effect.
Now, all incoming messages from the email address you set up auto-forwarding for will automatically be sent to your primary email account. This ensures that all emails are managed from one location for ease of access.
