• Sweep the floor with a stiff-bristled broom. Remove any dust or dirt that may be stuck in the grooves of your tiles.
• Mix together three parts baking soda and one part water in a bowl. Stir together to create a paste.
• Apply the paste to the oil stain on your floor tiles. Rub the paste into the tile with a damp cloth, using gentle circular motions.
• Let the paste sit for five minutes, then scrub it with a nylon brush. Rinse the area thoroughly with clean water.
• Mix one teaspoon of liquid dish-washing detergent with two cups of warm water in a bowl. Dip a rag or sponge into the mixture and scrub it on the oil stain.
