Correct Answer - C
We know that from` Ce ^(3+)` to `Lu^(3+)` ion nucleus charge increase. The 4f orbitals are not able to shield perfectly the attraction between nucleus and outer most electronic orbit. Thus increased nuclear charge is more than that of shielding effect of 4f electrons. Hence from `Ce ^(3+)` to `Lu^(3+)` ionic radii decreases.
