Current, I = 8 A
Time, t = 2 h
Energy, E = Vlt
E = 220 × 8 × 2 = 3520 Wh
⇒ E = 3.52 kwh
Cost of energy = Rs. 4.50 / kwh
∴ Cost of 3.52 kwh of energy = Rs. 4.50 × 3.52 kwh
= 15.84
