Let a be the side of square = 6 cm

∴ Diameter of a circle = Side of square = 6 cm

∴ Radius of the circle = Diameter/2 = 3 cm

∴ Area of the circle = πr^2 = π(3)^2 = 9π cm^2

D. 9π cm2

Let a be the side of square = 6 cm

∴ Diameter of a circle = Side of square = 6 cm

∴ Radius of the circle = Diameter/2 = 3 cm

∴ Area of the circle = πr2 = π(3)2 = 9π cm2
