(a) The Five Principles of Peaceful Coexistence are a series of agreements between the People’s Republic of China and India. They were formed in 1954. The 5 principles are called the Panchsheel, which form the basis of the Non-Aligned Movement, were laid down by Jawaharlal Nehru. Those are:
