Is it possible to design a rectangular mango grove whose length is twice its breadth, and the area is 800 m^2? If so, find its length and breadth.

Solution:
Let Breadth = b.
Given that length is twice its breath.
Length of the rectangle = 2b.
And given that area of rectangle = 800 m2
But area of rectangle = l x b = b x 2b
⇒ 2b2 = 800m2
⇒ b2 = 400m2
⇒ b = 20 m
∴ length of the rectangle = 40 m.
Breadth of the rectangle = 20 m.
∴ It is possible to design a rectangular mango grove.
