Amino Acids is a sterile aqueous solution, consisting of crystalline amino acids and D-sorbitol with electrolytes. Amino Acids is necessary as the nitrogen sources for parenteral nutrition in which nitrogen is provided in the form of essential and non-essential amino acids. The solution is clear, colorless having a pH lying in the range of 5.7 to 7.0.

Amino Acids consists of 18 essential and non-essential amino acids which are needed for protein synthesis as well as body build up. The amino acid composition is such that positive nitrogen balance can be achieved in the post-operative period and during extended periods of intravenous nutrition.

যে সকল রােগীদের শিরার মাধ্যমে পুষ্টি গ্রহন করতে হয় তাদের প্রােটিন সংশ্লেষনের উৎস হিসেবে নির্দেশিত। এই ধরনের পুষ্টি সাপাের্ট স্ট্রেস অবস্থায় যখন মুখে খাদ্য গ্রহন অপর্যাপ্ত তখন প্রােটিন সংরক্ষণ ও ক্যাটাবলিসম রােধে সহায়তা করে। এছাড়াও এটি সার্জারিতে দ্রুত পুনরুদ্ধার, পােড়া, বৃক্কের অকার্যকারিতা, যকৃতের অকার্যকারিতা এবং ক্যান্সারের ব্যবস্থাপনায় নির্দেশিত। এটি মত অ্যামিনাে এসিড প্রয়ােজন এমন রােগীদের জন্য বিশেষ উপযুক্ত।

Parenteral Nutritional preparationsমাত্রা ও সেবনবিধি
- প্রাপ্তবয়স্ক ৫০০-১০০০ মি.লি. প্রতিদিন।
- শিশুদের ক্ষেত্রে মাত্রা ও ৫০০-১০০০ মি.লি. প্রতিদিন।
- প্রাথমিকভাবে ইন্ট্রাভেনাস ইনফিউশনের রেট ২. মি.লি. প্রতি মিনিট হওয়া উচিত যা পরবর্তীতে ধীরে ধীরে বাড়ানাে যেতে পারে।
পার্শ্ব প্রতিক্রিয়া
বমি, আকস্মিক উদ্ভাস, ঘাম ইত্যাদি পরিলক্ষিত হয়। যখন পেরিফেরাল শিরা ব্যবহার করা হয় তখন হাইপারটোনিক ইনফিউশন সলুশন এর কারনে খ্রমবােফেলেবিটিস হতে পারে।
সতর্কতা
Hyperphenylalaninemia has been noted in severely ill, premature infants. In these patients, monitoring of the phenylalanine levels is recommended and the infusion rate adjusted as needed.
Do not use if the solution is turbid or contains particles. Discard any unused portion.
গর্ভাবস্থায় ও স্তন্যদানকালে ব্যবহার
গর্ভাবস্থায় অ্যামাইনাে এসিড প্রয়ােগ মানুষের জন্য নিরাপদ বলে প্রমাণিত।
প্রতিলক্ষণ
যে সকল রােগীদের জন্মগত অ্যামাইনাে এসিড মেটাবলিজম এর ক্রটি, অপরিবর্তনীয় যকৃতের ক্ষতি এবং তীব্র ইউরেমিয়া রয়েছে যেখানে ডায়ালাইসিসের সুবিধা নেই তাদের ক্ষেত্রে প্রতিনির্দেশিত।
বিশেষ সতর্কতা
In children and infants, the rate of infusion is 28-35 ml/kg body weight per day is recommended, with a step wise increase in the rate of administration during the first week.
অন্যান্য ওষুধের সাথে মিথস্ক্রিয়া
সুপারিশকৃত মাত্রায় অ্যামাইনাে এসিডের কোন ফার্মাকোলজিক্যাল প্রভাব নেই এবং অন্যান্য ঔষধের সাথে ক্রিয়া করেনা।
সংরক্ষণ
Protect from light and store between 15-25 °C temperature. Avoid freezing. Keep medicament's out of reach of children.
