Each capsule contains-

পার্শ্ব প্রতিক্রিয়া
আয়রণের চিকিৎসায় গাঢ় রং যুক্ত মল স্বাভাবিক, এছাড়া বমি বমি ভাব এবং কখনও কখনও পরিপাকতন্ত্রীয় জ্বালাপােড়া যেমন-ক্ষুধামন্দা, বমি, অস্বাচ্ছন্দ্য, কোষ্ঠকাঠিন্য এবং ডায়রিয়া দেখা দিতে পারে। এ ধরণের টাইমড় রিলিজ ক্যাপসুল বিশেষভাবে তৈরী করা, যাতে করে পরিপাকতন্ত্রে অস্বাচ্ছন্দ্য বােধ হবার সম্ভাবনা কমে যায়।
সতর্কতা
Special care should be taken in patients with Iron overload states, such as haemochromatosis, haemolytic anaemia or red blood cell aplasia. Failure to response to the treatment requires further investigations to exclude other causes of anaemia. In patients with renal failure there may be the risk of Zinc accumulation.
ঔষধের মিথষ্ক্রিয়া
Carbonyl Iron decreases the absorption of tetracycline antibiotics, quinolone antibiotics, levodopa, levothyroxine, methyldopa and penicillamine. Folic Acid interacts with antiepileptics, so plasma concentrations of phenobarbital, phenytoin and primidone are possibly reduced.
গর্ভাবস্থায় ও স্তন্যদানকালে ব্যবহার
যদি সম্ভব হয় গর্ভাবস্থার প্রথম তিন মাস যে কোন প্রকার ওষুধ ব্যবহার করা থেকে বিরত থাকা উচিত। সঠিকভাবে আয়রণের ঘাটতি নিশ্চিত হলেই কেবল মাত্র প্রথম তিন মাসে আয়রণ গ্রহণ করা যেতে পারে। গর্ভাবস্থার শেষ দিনগুলিতে আয়রণের ঘাটতি প্রতিরােধে এবং খাদ্যের অপর্যাপ্ততায় জিংক এবং ফলিক এসিডের ব্যবহার যুক্তিযুক্ত।
মাত্রাধিক্যতা
Symptoms of Carbonyl Iron include decreased energy, nausea, abdominal pain, tarry stool, weak, rapid pulse, fever, coma, seizures.
প্রতিলক্ষণ
যাদের এই জাতীয় ওষুধে সংবেদনশীলতা আছে অথ বা যারা আয়রণের মাত্রাতিরিক্ততায় ভুগছেন তাদের ক্ষেত্রে এই ওষুধ ব্যবহার করা যাবে না।
অন্যান্য ওষুধের সাথে মিথস্ক্রিয়া
টেট্রাসাইক্লিন, কুইনােলােন, লেভােডােপা, লেভােথাইরক্সিন, মিথাইলডােপা, পেনিসিলামিন, ফেনােবারবিটাল, ফিনাইটোইন এবং প্রাইমিডন।
