Process approach:

Product approach:
- Product approach is a writing approach that focuses on the final product of the writing task in which students imitate a writing model text.
- It views learners’ composition as the visible proof of their knowledge of the rules of writing. The teachers in the product approach ensure the accuracy of usage of spelling, punctuation and, syntax.
- It encourages learners to emulate the seemingly correct model of writing in terms of appropriate vocabulary and syntactic choices. Therefore, emphasis is paid to learning appropriate language structures at the expense of individual style.
- For example, Write a paragraph of 200 words on 'Autobiography of the Snake'.
