Option 1 : Remember, Understand, Apply, Analyse, Evaluate, Create

B.S. Bloom has proposed a taxonomy which is a set of three hierarchical models that refers to the classification of educational learning objectives.

Bloom's Taxonomy identified three domains of learning:
  1. Cognitive Domain: It involves knowledge and the development of intellectual skills.
  2. Affective Domain: It includes how we deal with things emotionally, such as feelings, values, appreciation, etc.
  3. Psychomotor Domain:  It includes physical movement, coordination, and use of the motor-skill areas.

The cognitive domain involves mental skills which are categorized into six levels of learning that serve in the development of intellectual skills and acquisition of power.

The correct order of the revised Bloom Taxonomy of the cognitive process:-

  • Remember:- Remembering, Recalling information Recognizing, listing, describing, retrieving, naming, finding.
  • Understand:- Explaining ideas or concepts. Interpreting, summarising, paraphrasing, classifying.
  • Apply:-Using information in another familiar situation Implementing, carrying out, using, executing.
  • Analyze:- Breaking information into parts to explore understandings and relationships. Comparing, organizing, deconstructing, interrogating, finding
  • Evaluate:- Justifying a decision or course of action. Checking, hypothesizing, critiquing, experimenting, judging.
  • Create:- Generating new ideas, products, or ways of viewing things. Designing, constructing, planning, producing, inventing

Thus, it is concluded that Remember, Understand, Apply, Analyse, Evaluate, Create arrangements reflect the correct order of the revised Bloom Taxonomy of the cognitive process.
