Option 3 : Implement teacher-centred curriculum.

Inclusion in education means education for all children in school as it refers to the inclusion of all children in the education system, regardless of their differences and disabilities.

The gifted child: Are those children who are born with above average mental IQ. They can be gifted in many areas like sports, studies, dancing, music, etc.

  •  Allowing opportunities to express diverse perspectives will help teachers to understand their students better. And it will also help the students for being an active part of the classroom and they will be open books to teachers and vice versa.
  • Providing academic enrichment activities will help the students to understand the particular topic more easily. Enrichment activities are those activities that help the students to extend their learning to improve skills and knowledge.
  •  Allowing students to pursue independent projects based on their interests will help the students to explore their interests, expertise or and mistakes. Then the teacher can also help them to polish their skills.

Hence from the above statements, we can conclude that a teacher-centered curriculum is not suitable for the inclusion of gifted children.

Hint Teacher-centered: In this method, the primary role is of a teacher. In this cannot get involved with studies. they just listen to the teacher.

  • By implementing a teacher-centered curriculum the students might not be able to understand the topic in an effective way. it may help normal students but it won't help gifted children.
