National Curriculum Framework is driven with the vision to address issues such as equality of opportunities, assessing learning, quality experiences, educational purposes, etc.
- There are four NCFs published in India by NCERT and NCF 2005 is one of them. It seeks to provide a framework for the betterment of educational purposes and experiences.
- Inclusive multilingual classroom refers to the inclusion of all children in the education system, regardless of their lingustic differences and background. It uses the mother tongues of learners for teaching and learning.
- The term diversity used in discourse related to people or communities or in social contexts is more specific, indicates that a group of people is made up of individuals who are different from each other in some way or the other or it means collective differences among people.
- Linguistic diversity is a useful resource in the classroom. It is an opportunity in terms of the availability of languages in a typical Indian classroom where multilingualism acts as a resource in the strategy for teaching-learning of language.
