We know that 1 m = 100 cm

⇒ 9 m = 900 cm and 7 m = 700 cm

The area of the floor = 900 × 700 = 630000 cm2

From the above options we get,

The area of the tiles

1. 40 × 65 = 2600 cm2

2.  55 × 40 = 2200 cm2

3. 35 × 45 = 1575 cm2

4. 35 × 35 = 1225 cm2

Among these only 1575 completely divides 630000.
