Option 2 : I and III

Let us consider the given statements one after another

Practically all the Refrigerants are having the similar value of COP when operating between the same temperature limits.

Ammonia doesn’t mix with the lubricating oil and oil separator is used to bring back the oil to the compressor. Refrigerants like R-11 and R-12 do mix freely with the lubricating oil.

Hermetically Sealed Compressor: In a hermetically sealed compressor, the compressor and motor are placed in a welded steel shell and the motor and the compressor are connected by a common shaft.

Dielectric Strength means maximum electric field it can withstand without breaking down.

In hermetic arrangements, the motor windings are cooled by refrigerants vapour on its way to the suction valve of the compressor. Therefore, the dielectric strength of refrigerant is an important property in hermetically sealed compressor units. For hermetically sealed system the refrigerants should have as high dielectric strength as possible.

For Ammonia leaks, a burning Sulphur taper is used which in the presence of ammonia forms white fumes of ammonium sulphite. Halide torch method is used with Halocarbons. In this, methyl alcohol or hydrocarbon flame is used which is light blue in colour but turns bluish-green in the presence of halocarbon vapours. Soap bubble method is also used for the leaks of Halocarbon compounds.

Therefore out of given statements only first and the third statement are true.
