The colors in the rainbow are Violet, Indigo, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, and Red (VIBGYOR).

The dice is painted with all these colors, one color on each side except yellow.

As blue is common in both the dice, we can consider the other face colors from either the clockwise direction or anti-clockwise direction, to find the colors that are opposite to each other.

In this case, blue color is common in both the cases, so considering the colors in the clockwise direction from blue, we get the colors as,

Blue – Indigo – Violet in the first dice, and

Blue – Green – Orange in the second dice.

Now comparing both the dice we find that, Indigo is opposite to Green, Violet is opposite to Orange.

The only color remaining is red so that will be opposite to blue.

Hence, red colored face of the dice will be opposite to the face that is blue colored.
