Given, Voltage V = 50 V and Resistance R = 8 Ω

According to Ohm’s law,

V = I.R

⇒ Current, I = V/R

Substitute the value of I in Electrical power, P = V.I = V. V/R = V²/R

P = 50²/8 = 2500/8 = 312.5 W
