  • Total Seats – 250 out of which 238 are elected while 12 members are nominated by the President of India.
  • Lower House or House of People
  • The term of Lok Sabha is 5 years.
  • Total Seats – 545 out of which 543 are elected directly by General Elections while two members are nominated by President of India.
  • The maximum strength of Lok Sabha is 552.
