The above statements discuss the cleanliness drive conducted by the Government and what the popular leaders did to get people to participate. All the above options give different reasons - option 1 gives the reason of getting more public support while option 2 and 4 are concerned with the public image of the leaders. Option 3 states that the personal gains was the reason for it but all these options would not be able to get more people to participate in the drive, as given in the statements.
