Here we talk about how Aristotle used to work in his time-limited resources. That’s S1.
First sentence: Now we can have to select a sentence which elaborates the working conditions of Aristotle, hence, sentence R which tells us how the only tools at his disposal were a ruler and a compass and some other rough instruments.
Second sentence: Now we can choose a sentence which further talks about the various schools of thought. Hence, sentence S talks about how there was no base yet discovered to the increasing advancement in theories of science.
Third sentence: Now we can further see in sentence R, as to how all the still existing physical events were thought to derive by some divine intervention.
Fourth sentence: now to push our discussion towards the inability of the age to carry enough experiments (S6), we have the industrial intervention which was introduced in Greece probably because of easy availability and cheap cost of labour.
