Option 1 : Solid
The speed of sound is highest in solid. The speed of sound depends on the density of the medium through which it is travelling. The higher the density of the medium, the faster is the propagation of sound. Since the density of solids is higher than that of liquids and gases, so sound travels fastest in solids. Also, the molecules in the solid medium are closely packed together than in liquids or gases, allowing sound waves to travel more quickly through it.
