Option 2 : DCAB

Since the first part of the paragraph is already given to us, it becomes easy to find the next part as it would link to the first. Similarly, we will keep linking the given parts to form a coherent paragraph.

After reading these parts we come to know that the paragraph is about ‘Computer’. Since, computer is a ‘machine’, therefore part 1 should follow part D. Now, between part B and C, the obvious choice for the third part is part C, because part B forms link (‘because of’) with 6th part of the paragraph. Hence, part C becomes the third part followed by part A. Part B becomes the fifth part of the paragraph.

Thus, the coherent paragraph is- ‘A computer is basically just a high-speed adding machine that performs the functions it is told to. If the input data are varied even a little, the computer is unable to operate until it is programmed to accept the variations. The business operations it performs are impressive only because of the extremely high speed of manipulation’.
