Option 3 : 1 and 2 only
The answer is 1 and 2 only.
- Directive principles – According to article 38 of the constitution the state shall endeavour to promote the welfare of the people by securing a social order permeated by social, economic and to minimize inequalities in income, status, facilities and opportunities.
- Fundamental Rights – Certain restrictions can be imposed on fundamental rights. According to 19(2), Right to freedom of speech and expression can be restricted by state if it is in the interest of sovereignty or integrity of the state.
- Secularism – It is nothing but the separation of religion from state. India is a secular country while countries like Afghanistan, Algeria etc. are not secular.
Note: Fundamental Rights are justiciable, as they can be enforced, whereas directive principles are not justiciable
