Option 4 : Rs. 85000

Since Ajay paid Rs. 73500 for the bike and Kishan earned 5% profit

⇒ Price paid by Kishan to Akhil = 73500/1.05 – 2000 = Rs. 68000

Since Akhil sold the bike at 20% loss,

∴ Price at which Akhil purchased the bike = 68000/0.8 = Rs. 85000
