As a token of appreciation towards the craftsmen, the Odisha government launched a scheme Mukhya Mantri Karigar Sahayata on 6 March 2019.
The scheme will provide them with monthly assistance.
Craftsmen with over 10 years of experience and annual income below Rs 1 lakh would be eligible to get an assistance of Rs 800 a month.
