Option 2 : 2.0 h

Diameter of pipe = 14cm

Radius of pipe = 7cm = 0.07m

Water rate = 5km/h = 5000m/h

Volume of pipe = πr²h

= (22/7) × (0.07 × 0.07) × 5000

= 77 m³per hour

Volume of rectangular tank =

= 50 × 44 × 0.007

= 154 cubic meter

Required time =

= 154/77

= 2 hour
