Option 4 : Rs. 1,100

Let the cost price of profit article be 11x and loss article be 9x

The total cost price of two articles = 2000

⇒ 11x + 9x = 2000

⇒ 20x = 2000

⇒ x = 100

∴ The cost price of profit article = 11x = 11 × 100 = 1100 rupees
