Option 4 : Plasma Membrane
Plasma membrane doesn’t have any type of Nucleic Acid - either DNA or RNA. Plasma membrane consists of lipids, cholesterol, phospholipid bilayer, glycol-lipids, etc.
- Nucleus contains Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) and might even contain some Ribonucleic Acid (RNA).
- Ribosomes are made up of ribosomal Ribonucleic Acid (rRNA).
- Mitochondria contains circular naked DNA, which is why it is capable of self-division.
- Chloroplasts also contain DNA, but may contain some RNA.
- RNA has the primary function of converting the information stored in DNA.
- Plasma membrane protects the cell from its surroundings.
- Ribosomes are that cell structure which help in making proteins.
