Option 2 : 1210 cm2

Given:

Radius is in ratio 3 ∶ 2

Difference between radius of ends = 7 cm

Slant height = 11 cm

Formula used:

Curved surface area of frustum = π(R + r) × L

R = radius of bottom, r = radius of top, L = slant height

Calculation:

Let the top and bottom radius be 2x and 3x respectively

3x – 2x = 7

⇒ x = 7

Radius, R = 21 cm and r = 14 cm

∴ Curved surface area of frustum = π × 35 × 11 = 1210 cm²
