Option 2 : 11 kg.

Given:

Number of students = 96

Average weight = 30 kg.

1 student leave the school then average weight is increased by 200 gm.

Formula used:

If a person leaves a group so that average weight increases, then the weight of the person who leaves

= Original average weight – (No of persons (Excluding the left out person) × increase in average weight)

Calculation:

Weight of student who shift from the school = 30 – ((96 – 1) × 200/1000)

⇒ 30 – (95 × 1/5)

⇒ 30 – 19

⇒ 11 kg.

∴ Weight of the student who shifted from the school is 11 kg.
