Introduction

Riluzol Tablet 50 mg is an anti-glutamate agent which has been approved in various countries for the treatment of neurological disorders like amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and also for Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease. It has been found to have neuroprotective as well as neuromodulatory actions. Uses

Mechanism of Action

Riluzol Tablet 50 mg blocks the action of glutamate, a neurotransmitter which can lead to neuronal damage when present in excess, by inhibiting its action and binding to glutamate receptors in the brain.
