Introduction

Ebanex Tablet 10 mg is under investigation for the treatment of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Ebanex Tablet 10 mg has been investigated for the treatment of Urticaria.

Uses

Ebanex Tablet 10 mg is a second generation H1-receptor antagonist useful in the treatment of allergic rhinitis and urticaria.

  • Allergic Rhinitis (AR)

Food Interactions

  • Take with or without food. Taking ebastine with food may increase its bioavailability.

Dosage

Tablet:
  • Adults (more than 12 years of age): 10 mg (one tablet) once daily.
  • Children (6-12 years of age): 5 mg (half tablet) once daily.
Syrup:
  • Children (2-5 years of age): 2.5 ml once daily (upto 5 ml in severe cases such as Perennial Allergic Rhinitis).
  • Children (6-12 years of age): 5 ml once daily (upto 10 ml in severe cases such as Perennial Allergic Rhinitis).
Ebanex Tablet 10 mg may be taken with or without food.
