Ebahist Tablet 10 mg is an antiallergenic drug that belongs to a class of medications known as non-sedating antihistamines. Mechanism of Action

Ebahist Tablet 10 mg is a selective H1-receptor antagonist. Absorption

Dosage

Tablet:

Adults (more than 12 years of age): 10 mg (one tablet) once daily.
Children (6-12 years of age): 5 mg (half tablet) once daily.

Syrup:

Children (2-5 years of age): 2.5 ml once daily (upto 5 ml in severe cases such as Perennial Allergic Rhinitis).
Children (6-12 years of age): 5 ml once daily (upto 10 ml in severe cases such as Perennial Allergic Rhinitis).

Ebastine may be taken with or without food.

The normal dosage of ebastine is 10mg taken orally once a day, preferably in the evening. Depending on the patient’s individual response, the dosage can be increased to 20mg if necessary.
