If A's wealth is 7/9 times of B's and C's is 4/3 times of B's, what is the ratio of C's wealth to A's wealth?

If A's wealth is 7/9 times of B's and C's is 4/3 times of B's, what is the ratio of C's wealth to A's wealth? Correct Answer 12 : 7

GIVEN:

A = (7/9) B

C = (4/3) B

CALCULATION:

A : B = 7 : 9

⇒ B = (9/7)A      ----(1)

And, C : B = 4 : 3

⇒ B = (3/4)C

Putting value of B from equation (1), we get

(9/7)A = (3/4)C

⇒ C/A = (9/7) × (4/3)

⇒ C/A = 12/7 = 12 : 7
