CALCULATION:

Ratio of number of novels published in Hindi, Urdu and English

= (25 × 8) : (8 × 16) : (16 × 11)

= 25 : 16 : 22

Let number of novels published in Hindi, Urdu and English is ‘25x’, ‘16x’ and ‘22x’ respectively.

According to the question:

25x – 22x = 27

⇒ x = 9

So,

Total novels published by the writer = 25x + 16x + 22x = 567
