The logic of above series can be explained as,

778 - 777 = 1 = 12

787 – 778 = 9 = 32

812 – 787 = 25 = 52

9999 + 12 = 10000

10000 + 32 = 10009

10009 + 52 = 10034

10034 + 72 = 10083

a = 10000, b = 10009, c = 10034, d = 10083

Difference between d and a = 10083 – 10000
