Time interval of the first bell = 6 minutes

Time interval of the second bell = 8 minutes

Time interval of the third bell = 18 minutes

Solution :

To find the least time to toll together,

We have to find the L.C.M. of 6, 8, and 18.

L.C.M. of 6, 8, and 18 = 2 × 3 × 4 × 3

⇒ L.C.M. of 6, 8, and 18 = 72
