Now, A/Q

17x + 19y + 23z = 786      ----(1)

51x + 57y + 70z = 2428      ----(2)

Eq (2) – 3 × Eq (1)

⇒ 51x + 57y + 70z – 3(17x + 19y + 23z) = 2428 – 3 × 786

⇒ 51x + 57y + 70z – 51x – 57y – 69z  = 2428 – 2358

⇒ z = 70

∴ The price of banana is 70
