A’s monthly income is 10% more than that of B. B’s monthly income is 20% more than that of C. if the sum of the monthly income of A and B is Rs. 315000. what is the monthly income of C? Correct Answer 125000
Given :
A’s monthly income = B’s monthly income × 110%
B’s monthly income = Monthly income of C × 120%
Sum of the monthly income of A and B = 315000 Rs.
Calculation:
Let income of C be 100
Income of B = 100 × 120% = 120
Income of A = 120 × 110% = 132
A : B : C
132 : 120 : 100
33 : 30 : 25
A + B = 33 + 30 = 63 unit
63 unit = 315000 Rs
1 unit = 5000Rs
25 unit (income of C) = 25 × 5000
⇒ 125000 Rs
∴ Monthly income of C is 125000.
