Given:

First purchase:

Purchased 2 mobile phones and 1 laptop

Paid full amount of the Mobile phones but only one-third of the amount of the Laptop

Paid Rs. 60,000 in total

Second purchase:

Purchased 3 Mobile phones and 2 Laptops

Paid full amount of the Laptops but only two-third of the amount of the Mobile phones

Paid Rs. 1,10,000 in total

Calculation:

Let 'x' be the price of 1 Mobile phone and 'y' be the price of 1 Laptop

For the First purchase,

2x + (y/3) = 60,000

⇒ 6x + y = 1,80,000  ----(1)

For Second purchase,

3x × (2/3) + 2y = 1,10,000

⇒ 2x + 2y = 1,10,000

On multiplying by 3

⇒ 6x + 6y = 3,30,000 ----(2)

Equation (2) - (1)

⇒ 5y = 1,50,000

∴ y = 30,000

From equation (1), we know

6x + y = 1,80,000

⇒ 6x = 1,80,000 - 30,000 = 1,50,000

⇒ x = 25,000

Now,

x + y = 25,000 + 30,000 = 55,000

∴ Amount he should pay if he purchase 1 Mobile phone and 1 Laptop only and pays full amount for both = Rs. 55,000
