Given:
(x + y) = 90°
Formula used:
(sinx + siny) = 2sin cos
(cosx + cosy) = 2cos cos
Calculation:
(sinx + siny)/(cosx + cosy)
⇒ 2sin cos / 2cos cos
⇒ sin /cos
⇒ sin45°/cos45°
⇒ (1/√2)/(1/√2) = 1
∴ 1
/ (cosx + cosy)
⇒ / (cosx + cosy) = 1
∴ 1
